In centrifugal pumps, which are also known as single-stage pumps, the moving part is the pump shaft and the impeller. The fixed part is the snail-shaped body of the pump. The collection of the liquid coming out of the impeller and the conversion of the kinetic energy gained by the liquid to the pressure energy are provided by the body. The seal assembly to prevent leakage is located on the motor side of the pump body. If sealing is required, the drive motor can be placed inside the pump body. This type of pump is called as monoblock or wet rotor type. It is mostly used in heating water circulation, air handling units, cooling towers, city drinking water transportation and irrigation water distribution, sprinkler.
