ABK series clutches are systems that transfer motion on shafts and connected loads with the power of the magnetic field generated when electrical energy is supplied.
The clutch is provided with the help of the pulling force provided by the magnetic field created by the delivery of electrical energy and the movement is transferred to the opposite side. As a result of the removal of the magnetic field by cutting the electrical energy, the system becomes idle again with the help of the spring mounted on the luminaire. The clutch and release speeds in this system can be increased up to 10 times per second thanks to special electronic circuits. Since they are frictional systems, the working gap may increase due to the wear that occurs over time. The working gap should be checked at appropriate periods.
