As a newly born business unit, Cleangeartech is rooted in a long story of two engineers, father and son, keeping pace with continuous technological advancement in the mechanical transmission industry.

It all started in 1955 in Giuseppe Speggiorin with the hydrodynamic speed variator.

Giuseppe's son, Stefano Speggiorin, founded his own company Hydro-Mec Spa in 1983, currently producing an important high-quality and modular gearboxes.

In 2006, Stefano decided to face another challenge, this time coming directly from end users. Originally designed a series of stainless steel products for the food industry; the same year, Hydro-Mec started production. As time went on, it became clear that this project deserved its own story. In 2016, Cleangeartech brand and business unit started.
