PUMPS
Pump is the name given to a mechanical device used to transport liquids. It is also known as pump or basac. They are pumps used in the transmission of liquids. Pumps are not in one type and model. Each one is made of special material according to the fluids they will convey. If an acid substance is to be used, the pump used in the transmission of acids is made of durable materials such as ebonite, lead, aluminum, iron. The pump material also varies according to the type of acid.
Pumps increase the pressure and total energy of liquids. It helps to add kinetic or potential energy to the fluid it absorbs. In general, the pump serves to convey fluids from one place to another, to raise them higher and to compress gases and evacuate gases inside closed doors.
