Dusty brakes are preferred in applications where variable torque is required. Dusty brakes used for applying counterload in conditions such as printing, printing and textile machines where tension control is required can be controlled by tension control drives. Dusty brakes can provide the user's desired torque levels at high performance only with a high performance dust brake driver.
